Maybe it was because she DIDN’T love Liam even though it was SO OBVIOUS that he was good. I can’t quite put my finger on it, maybe something to do with the characters who had so far been really interesting and had a lot of development, maybe it was the fact that she was STILL into Roan despite talking to him like 3 times for the whole book. Somewhere around the 250 page mark I stopped loving it. I loved the world and the idea that blood was time and rich people could live forever. There was SO MUCH hype around this book, so I was SO excited to start. ![]() There she discovers secrets about herself, her past, and those around her. Jules takes a job at Everless, a rich estate where her father used to work, because her father is dying (running out of time) and they are paying well. ![]() This book is about a girl, Jules, who lives in a world where blood is time and money, and the rich can live for hundreds of years. ![]()
